In reality, today the US has 75,000 new cases and 980 new deaths.

Guess it works for mentally ill, delusional, people.  Reality tells us the virus is spiking again and more people are dying from it. It certainly hasn't ended.

Trump banned travel from other countries into the US which saved about 2 million lives.  He started Operation Warp Speed to get a vaccine as quickly as possible.  He also strongly encouraged scientists and medical personnel to find treatments to save lives.  He shut down the economy, turned factories into producing PPE and ventilators, set up new hospital facilities.  He also warned the elderly and people with preexisting conditions of the dire consequences to their lives.  If you want to be angry at someone, see what Cuomo, and Michigan's governor, and 3 other governors did to people in nursing homes that has accounted for over 40% of the deaths so far.

To be fair, Trump's Covid-19 was resolved through medical intervention and the Trump administration is so self centered, they don't see the pandemic beyond Trump personally.

But yeah, those of us with brains and empathy see that statement as being retarded.
