Has the reply on answers function gone for you guys as well now?

Yes it has. They also removed the comments for the news section of Yahoo.

There has never been a "reply"- function. Y!A is not a discussion-forum or chat-site.

For more than a week now.  Why are you just now noticing it?   Are you honestly that slow?   Not to mention that this question has been posted hundreds of times for more than a week now.  Why is it that when people have a problem like this they aren't bright enough to see if someone else has asked this question so they don't fill page after page with the same question?

It's gone for everyone,   hopefully only until after the election.  

After the election........we will all find out together if they ever bring it back. 

and then there will be another 5,000 questions, asking   "Are comments back now? " 

It disappeared OVER A WEEK AGO FOR EVERYONE. Verizon Media disabled commenting across the  entire Yahoo platform for SAFETY, security and legal reasons. For YA, commenting on YA answers it disappeared at 11:34 PM CDT Wednesday night/ Thursday morning 8 DAYS ago. How many times do you Have to be told "This is not glitch before You understand THIS IS NOT A GLITCH.  This is INTENTIONAL, just like it was when Yahoo did this in 2016 and 2012.

This has already been answered DOZENS of times. Always review the questions in the YA subcategory before you post, so you don't repost something that's already been asked/answered thoroughly. 

Yes the ability to comment feature has gone for the time being, some users say it should return after the US presidential elections as that has happened before, guess we'll have to wait while November to find out.

Commenting on answers has been removed. For how long we don't know. It could be temporary, or it could be permanent.
