Did Yahoo Answers do away with comments?

Commenting on answers has been removed. For how long we don't know. It could be temporary, or it could be permanent.

Yes,  the abuse going on in comments,  was reaching epic levels.......

just like question moving got totally out of hand...... so trolls moved to leaving rancid comments under your answers. 

I'm GLAD the took comments away.   At least until after the election.........and give everyone a damn break, or the trolls  a "time-out" or something.

Yahoo has Temporary Disabled Comments Until they turn them Back on you wont be able to Comment

on any Answers

If you go to there Front Page they made a Announcement about it here is what they have to say tho

Verizon Media did away with comments on both Yahoo News?articles and answer comments for security and safety reasons. NOT Yahoo Answers. A product and service cannot DO anything. This may be temporary Yahoo and AOL did the same thing before the 2016 election. 

Yes.   Just like every other question exactly like this that has been asked this morning.   Hopefully they are just freezing it to eliminate the worst abusers. But remember that this is Yahoo home of worthless solutions.
