What is it about MDs in US unable to diagnose excruciating pain, then just blowing off the patient? This is happening to 5 people I know??!?

    Like anything, there are specialists for this called pain management specialists. No "regular doc" is going to get caught in the pain medication issues right now--its not worth it.

    they can diagnose it with no problem. Perhaps you asking if "unable to treat it" ? that involves morphine and other powerful drugs. They are reluctant to prescribe those as the government has strict controls on those. 

    However, they should treat it with those drugs as needed. If not, try another doctor.
