Child support in Texas?
I have two questions related to this.
1) I have two kids, one son (12 yr) one daughter (10 yr old). Going thru a divoce now. My understanding is that child support is a percent of my income, where can i find that percent info?
2) We have had some challenges at work. If i lose my job, what happens to the child support amount?
Thank you in advance.

"Child support in Texas is determined by figuring out the average net monthly resources of the noncustodial parent and applying guidelines established by the Texas legislature that require paying a percentage of those average net monthly resources in child support depending on how many children there are."
I am reading a chart that states 25% of your average monthly income if there are two children.
Your attorney should have discussed this with you.

Child support in Texas is based on a percentage of the monthly net resources of the obligor and the number of children. With two children you would pay 25%.
