who is responsible?

a few months ago I was in an accident in the company truck. I just received a letter from a law group in the mail saying I was being sued. I was told that my company insurance was going to pay for it and now I just received letter stating I was being sued. My company said they were going to take care of this law suit. who is responsible for paying this lawsuit me or my company?

Your employer has insurance for this type of situation.  Inform your employer that you're getting sued.

The owner of the vehicle has to have liability insurance so the employer's insurance has to respond.  Just give it to your boss.

I think for your own safety YOU'D best get a lawyer, and not one that works for the 'company' .....................
