Which stocks should my son sell?

My son seems to be extremely lucky in the stocks he’s bought. Just getting in the market for the first time 7 weeks ago, he bought, AAL, VTIQ that is now NKLA, NCLH, MFA, BA, LUV, UEC, XOM, PLAY, and BYD. He’s up over 62 percent in 7 weeks. Some of these stocks are considered volatile. I’m recommending he cashes the register by selling half of AAL, BA, BYD, MFA, PLAY and NCLH. And maybe add to XOM? Sound reasonable?  NKLA has too much potential to sell.

He timed the market well. Cause he bought in a down market. I dont have the time to look up the stocks. But unless you need the money dont rush to sell especially if the stocks pay dividends. On the other hand. It never hurts to sell as long as you profit. Just remember that money in the bank gets very little interest. So if you don't actually need the money it is best to keep it in stocks. Or reinvest in stable funds like MINT that can pay more interest than bank accounts.

The market is up in the last 7 weeks a lot.  But, sounds like you are trolling.
