Was Toyota still one of the most reliable car brands in the 1960-70s or did this become this later ?
As of 2020, Toyota is one of the most reliable car brands. How long have they held this title and who was at the top in the 60-70s?

not sure but they are today out of all the other brands. not as reliable today as in the past but stil....

No, not in the 60s or 70s.
The Volkswagen beetle was an extremely popular car in the US in the 1970, but Ford cars did particularly well in the 60s, as did cars made by Chevrolet, a division of GM.
