Do you pay bills with payment coupons, stamps, and envelopes?

Update:

My mother-in-law does but of course she is in her 90's. Attempted to get her to pay bills free of charge using electronic bill-pay through her bank but it fell on deaf ears.

It's tough getting some people to change especially with all the news they heard of data breaches.  If it's works for her, I wouldn't sweat it.  It took me a while to switch over to electronic paying (I would come home, write dhecks for any new bills and drop them in the mail the next morning).  Wasn't a huge amount of work.  I always knew how much money I had in my checking account over and above what was going to go out to pay for bills.  Now, I never balance my checking account but I have to keep a big enough surplus to avoid an overdraft.
