Morals question about ebooks?
Years ago I bought a book series and now I want to re-read them, however I can only locate the first book. I tried to find the kindle version, but they only exist in German. In your opinion, is it wrong to download the ebooks from a free source?
The point here is normally you would need to purchase the books again - the "free" part is that they are "pirated".
This question is not so much about the books, but the morality of the situation. A rephrase would be: is it ever moral to replace a digital "asset" with bootlegged or pirated copy?

Yes, I find it a bit immoral.
Full disclosure - I still do it all the time.

it is not wrong and I think we should all have access to books we can down load on a computer.

For starters, it is wrong to post this elsewhere than Books & Authors.
Are they in print in any paper format ?
