JESUS IS EXPLAINING THAT HE IS INDEED GOD THE SECOND PERSON OF THE BLESSED TRINITY, SEE ALL JESUS SAID HERE
JESUS IS GOD, SEE HERE WHERE HE TELLS US MANY TIMES IN THE BIBLE FIRST WHERE HE TELLS PHILLIP HE IS GOD,>>>>
Philip said, 'Lord, show us the Father and then we shall be satisfied.' Jesus said to him,
9 'Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know me? 'Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father, so how can you say, "Show us the Father"?
10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? What I say to you I do not speak of my own accord: it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his works.
11 You must believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe it on the evidence of these works.
EXPLANATION OF JESUS SAYING ONLY THE FATHER IS GOOD>>>
I know at glance it seems like Jesus is questioning why they call Him good. However, He is agreeing that He is good, but bringing to their attention that this goodness is from the Father and the good they see in Him is because He is light from light, true God from true God.
He was saying that if people recognize that He is good then they should know that He is God. They should recognize that God is the source of goodness, not man. He was raising people's minds to recognize the Messiah.
ALSO, THIS IS PROOF GOD IS A BLESSED TRINITY IN GODS OWN WORDS JESUS TELLS YOU HE IS GOD MANY TIMES, ALSO THE TRINITY IS IN THE SAME BIBLE, GOD SAID, "LET US" MAKE MAN IN "OUR" IMAGE, AND WHEN GOD AT THE TOWER OF BABEL, GOD SAID, let "us" go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other! HENCE HIS TWO MESSAGES THAT GOD IS THE BLESSED TRINITY
BELOW ARE DIFFERENT TIMES JESUS SAYS HE IS "I AM" GOD.
JESUS TOLD THE PHARISEES WHEN THEY SAID TO JESUS, DO YOU PUT YOURSELF ABOVE ABRAHAM AND JESUS SAID, BEFORE ABRAHAM, "I AM" MEANING HE IS GOD
WHEN MOSES ASKED GOD HIS NAME, GOD SAID HIS NAME WAS "I AM"
OTHER TIMES JESUS SAID, "I AM" THE DOOR TO HEAVEN.
"I AM" THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE
"I AM THE VINE, YOU ARE THE BRANCH'S
JOHN 17:5 And now glorify thou me, O Father, with thyself, with the glory which I had, before the world was, with thee.
John 8:58
Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say to you, before Abraham was made, I am.
saias (Isaiah) 43:10
You are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that you may know, and believe me, and understand that I myself am. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there shall be none.
I WILL GIVE YOU TWO EXAMPLES FIRST THE BIBLE IS GOD'S WORD AND THE WORD BECAME FLESH(JESUS, GOD, MAN) AND DWELT AMONG US. SECOND, WHEN SATAN TEMPTED JESUS, JESUS SAID, YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST. ALSO READ JOHN 14: 1 THRU 12

All have a spirit, so all are one.

Jesus (in the Christ spiritual form) was begotten prior to the existence of man. Christ came from God and therefore part of God. Colloquially speaking, he and the Father are one in that viewpoint. This is much in the same that we and our parents are one because we share DNA with them.
Since everything is born (created) from the Father, WE are also one with the Father.

To understand this, you must first know the different between CHRIST and Jesus:
1. Christ is the Son of God.
2. Jesus is the son of man;
3. Christ lived in Jesus as Christ can live in all. Jesus' last name wasn't Christ.
ONLY Peter knew this. John and the other Apostle didn't know, and paul certainly didn't know.
Christ spoke through Jesus as with any Prophet; sometime Jesus spoke as himself as man does.
1. Christ was before Abraham, not Jesus.
2. Christ and the Father are one(agree), as we all can be one(agee) with the Father.
3. There are 2 Isaiahs whose works are combined as 1. Since Sons of God reigned as Lord during that period, the reference is unclear.
MATT: 16:13.... Whom do men say that I the [SON OF MAN] am?
1. Jesus confesses he is the son of man. Peter doesn't response to Jesus.
2. CHRIST asked, "but whom say ye that I am"? Peter responds to CHRIST, not to Jesus; "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the LIVING God".

The first principle of sound Bible interpretation is to find what it meant to those it was first communicated too
When God created the universe, He created TIME, space and matter. Therefore, we cannot rightly say that “God lived and existed for aeons prior to his first creation”. As teem the JW did last week. God is not subject to time, before he created the universe there was no time. He is ‘timeless’. That is why a day is as a thousand years to Him. And that is also why He is known as, ‘I Am’ and Jesus used the very same Title for Himself in (John 8:56-59). Jesus, in response to the Pharisees’ question “Who do you think you are?” said, “‘Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.’ ‘You are not yet fifty years old,’ the Jews said to him, ‘and you have seen Abraham!’ ‘I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, ‘before Abraham was born, I am!’ At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds”
The violent response of the Jews to Jesus’ “I AM” statement indicates they clearly understood what He was declaring—that He was the eternal God incarnate. Jesus was equating Himself with the "I AM" title God gave Himself in Exodus 3:14.
This is what is meant to those Jews that it was first communicated too as their reaction shows.
If Jesus had merely wanted to say He existed before Abraham’s time, ( as the JW’s teach). He would have said, “Before Abraham, I was.” The Greek words translated “was,” in the case of Abraham, and “am,” in the case of Jesus, are quite different. The words chosen by the Spirit make it clear that Abraham was “brought into being,” but Jesus existed eternally (see John 1:1). There is no doubt that the Jews understood what He was saying because they took up stones to kill Him for making Himself equal with God (John 5:18). Such a statement, if not true, was blasphemy and the punishment prescribed by the Mosaic Law was death (Leviticus 24:11–14). But Jesus committed no blasphemy; He was and is God, the second Person of the Godhead, equal to the Father in every way.

Obviously He was speaking of the fact that as God, He was with the Father in Heaven from all eternity, before He took on a human nature.
