What's a good laptop that's under $1500?

for programming? I'm thinking about buying a .laptop and I'm planning to go back to school for programming but there's so many to choose from.

    depends, for just programming a basic potato may be enough if its games probably something with good graphics to test, if its mobile apps better processor for the visualised mobile apps for testing.

    Any Macbook that you can get for that budget. Highly recommend at least 16G RAM in it too.

    My son is in his last semester of a CS degree and has found he prefers the MacBook Air.  He has two of those laptops.  One he owns and the other is on loan from a tech company.
