Have you seen His love for you?

Did you realise you were the joy set before Jesus that he endured the cross? That it was the thought of you made whole and united to him that kept him there?

When he stopped Peter from defending him with a sword at his arrest, Jesus said he could call 12 legions of angels and they would come immediately. He is the Lord of the army of heaven, the King of the universe. Will you take a moment to dwell on the strength of Jesus’ love for you?

At any time, he could have said enough’s enough

- when he was falsely accused

- when he was beaten, mocked and spat on

- when the Roman whips tore his flesh to the bone and he was waiting for the next blow, or the next, or the next...

- when the crown of thorns put on him was bashed into his head with rods

- when the hammer was raised to drive the nails through his feet and hands.

What love is this? He endured it all because he is love and he wants you. He prayed, Father forgive them for they know not what they do.

Can you see His love for you? May God bless the eyes of your heart that you may see.

I respect everything about Jesus Christ but in all honesty, I feel like I endured more than him. I'm probably wrong, but it's just my thoughts. Heck, maybe a lot of people endured more than him.

I wonder why believers seem to think sacrificing children is a good thing?
