Atheists: what evidence might convince you you were wrong about God?

The problem with religious nut jobs is that they never show physical evidence in their stupid “god” claims. Religious nut jobs are full of meaningless words talking through their hole and no evidence to show. They can’t prove their point. Atheists have been waiting a long time for religious nut jobs to show evidence but religious nut jobs are unconvincing in their stupid “god” claims that they initiate because they are delusional. Your problem is that you don’t want to hear “evidence” and that’s your loss since religious nut jobs fail in that department and don’t know how to backup their religious bull$hit.

This is a pointless question to ask an atheist, because most can perceive of time without end. There is no need for a god, why would I bother with fantasying. Perhaps you ought to have addressed your question to an agnostic. Many people will claim to atheism simply because they have avoided, or thought their way out of their groups particular form of dogma. They have never actually examined what "I don't believe in god" implies. They too could probably answer your question with a request for some form of magic stunt, but to an atheist, pure fantasy.

The only answer I can give is that, if there really is a god, then that god would know what it would take to convince me of its existence. The fact that that has never happened either means no god exists, or god doesn't want me to know of its existence.

I guess this won't satisfy you but I really don't know. That's because I can't imagine there being any evidence ever for something that, so far as I'm concerned, I KNOW doesn't exist. What evidence would make you believe that The Easter Bunny, Santa Claus or fairies existed?

The only thing I can say is that any evidence at all would be a good starting point.

Added, the thing about this myth or character called “God” is that there is no evidence: God is invisible, doesn't speak in a way we can hear, doesn't exist on Earth or even outside of it in any way that we understand. It's all about faith. Another analogy (sorry) what evidence would you accept to prove that Santa Clause lives in New York and drives a Cadillac? There can't be any because that's not “Santa”.

"scenarios/results/scientific tests" remain in the temporal sphere. God exists in the spiritual arena, John 4:24. His demand upon the human race is defined by Heb. 11:6. What you suggest in your premise is an exercise in futility, 1 Cor. 1:19, Rom. 11:33-36.

Carefully controlled, well conducted, and repeatable trials that show that prayer to one particular god was effective in aiding healing would be one example. It does not seem to happen that way, though.

The same evidence that would prove to you that Thor is real.

Perhaps a double blind study with a perfect correlation that those individuals that believe in a specific god had miraculous things happen to them through prayer and atheists did not.

Direct manifestation of the divine and verification that I am not in any way insane.

I'd consider aliens believing in the same religion as a strong possibility.

Maybe an inerrant, flawless holy book would lend itself to considering the possibility.

The religion would need to never have internal disputes or members who commit atrocities.

Believers that ask unbelievers what evidence might convince us that we were wrong about gods... don't  think that their favorite GOD know all like what might convince us... They wont ask their own GOD about that...  because they know... HOW asking questions to their GOD"always" work...
