Why are people panic buying guns? Do they really think they can shoot the Coronavirus dead with bullets?

They have to be able to defend their hoard of TP and hand sanitizer!

Because they want to be able to defend themselves. An epidemic is a widespread occurrence of an infectious disease in a community at a particular time. Do you really believe there are enough police to go around during an epidemic when everyone is sick and desperate? You've got at least 5 minutes to wait before the police arrive on a good day, in the best town and circumstances, when everyone else is not calling. With an epidemic situation there is a really good chance the police will not arrive. Smart people are prepared for many situations. 

Put a big sign on the front of your house that says "This is a firearm free zone " .  That will keep the bad guys away especially if they are carrying .

You can't solve all your problems with guns.  You can, however,  solve the problems that involve people threatening  yourself or your family or trying to steal your stuff. Think about it, genius.

Red Cross has already predicted social instability in large cities.  

When they go to the supermarket guns will keep everyone away while they hoard their tp and junk food. wow, these answers just prove my point. they hoard guns cause they are looking for a fight, a fight thats never their fault.

why are people panic buying toilet paper? do they think they can wipe the corona virus away with toilet paper? This will only cause a huge escalation in toilet paper violence and deaths!!
