Yes they are sanitizing everything every hour and wearing masks and taking extra precautions. They are working 10x harder with no extra pay. Unfortunately I eat more fast food than anything ( I really hate it but I work with fast food and it's the best way to save money for me) they are safe and some of the few places open after 9pm

I never trusted fast food even before covid-19

No. I don't. Many places don't allow workers to wear PPE.

My state public health officials have limited occupancy of 10 people in any closed or open environment. If you violate that; they threaten throwing you in an overcrowded jail.

Only from a Government official?  .. go figure?

i don't and i work at mcdonalds. still we're literally busy as ever with the lobby shut down. drive thru is always poppin'. it makes me feel like a lot of ppl aren't taking the virus seriously enough. we are considered essential because some families may not be able to afford groceries to cook meals and its sometimes cheaper to buy a cheap meal for your kids. thats why were open but we're busy as ever. like we get ridiculously backed up with cars. and i constantly wash my hands, sanitize my hands, and put gloves on but most of my coworkers don't do that. i wouldn't say it's the safest option at all - just avoid people and cook at home

Yes. I wash my hands after handling the bags. Then I’ll transfer the food to a plate and either microwave or reheat the food to kill the virus.

Yes. The virus doesn't live in food. Fast food workers are all wearing gloves. The advice from the CDC is to empty the food out of the containers, and wash your hands. But there are no instances of the virus being transmitted in food.
