Is it possible to post anything on YA without being denigrated by political indignation from both sides? :-))?

This site is designed to be outrageous. That's why its called Yahoo Answers, not just Answers. That's how they get advertisers. because any troll with anything to say can post anything they want. You can even set up another screen identity and give yourself best answers. They could stop it anytime they wanted just by putting a monitor on certain sights like Religion and Politics but they don't.
BTW, fairness? forget about it. This is basically what you'd find in your junk files.

Yes, however your questions should be clear and related to this site. Also try not to be so thin skin. In this day of social media there are numerous critics about everything.

Of course. A request for facts rather than opinions is an excellent beginning.
When someone asks the title of a book or movie and gives a decent description of what they remember, the replies are either correct or an honest attempt to be correct. Hard to put those down.
If a person posts an image of a teapot and wants to know the pattern name, or its approximate value, those who know how to research such things can give answers free of denigration and indignation.
Frankly, if you want to talk politics, YA is a horrific place to do it, jam-packed with people who cannot back up their vile opinions.

Yes, but firstly making sure that you put it in the appropriate section would be helpful. This is in the Books & Authors section, but should either be in the Politics or the Yahoo Products section.
Secondly, as this is a questions and answers site, only post genuine questions or an answer to a genuine question rather than a political comment or rant in the form of a question.

Of course. Methinks you have a touch of paranoia.
