Pot Luck - What if everyone brings mashed potatoes ?

What's funnier is when everyone tries to be clever and different and ends up bringing similar things. I've seen this happen.

That's why you make a list of who's bringing what so everyone brings something different.

I would gain 10 lbs. I LOVE mashed potatoes!

Simple. Make Sheppard's Pie..The most tedious chore in making that pie is the mashed potatos, so if you are given that, get the rest of the ingredients from your fridge: meat, green onions, corn, tomato puree, and feed the hordes.

MASHED POTATO FIGHT!!!!

Then I'm leaving and heading out to the closest burger joint. The weird thing is that I'll probably order fries with that burger.

That is why when you know there will be a dinner to ask some of the people you know who are going to it what are they bringing then you can make a wise decision on what to bring. Thanks for the question.

Order fried or rotisserie chicken.

If everything is closed, use all the mashed potatoes and make some kind of bake with meat and cheese (ham, sausage or hamburger).

Then it'd be a hellacious experience. Like a big spider on your pillow.
