Why do people buy Jeans that are already ripped?

I always wondered that myself, because they are usually pricier.. maybe some people just have more money than sense. lol

I guess because they are still in style, but I personally do not like them.  They are very expensive if you buy them new, and you can just make holes in a pair of jeans you have at home for nothing. 

That’s the style. Plus you can mess it up trying to do it yourself.
