I prefer a live tree because it has a wonderful pleasing scent. artificial trees smells like blah.

We prefer a Fiberotrick Christmas tree the lights are already in the tree.

Artificial. They're cheaper, less of a hassle, and don't require you to constantly sweep up after them.

I very much prefer real trees. It was a yearly argument in my family. 4 years ago, I gave in and we now have an artificial one:(

A Christmas tree that is not artificial.

I like the smell of real ones, however they can be quite messy, not to mention dangerous if they dry up.
Fake trees are probably the way to go if you plan on setting up a tree every year. I haven't had a tree set up in years.
