Do you prefer Study.com or Straighterline?
I posted this a couple of days ago, but I only received one non-responsive answer, so I'm trying again:
I need to pick up some credits for a graduate program; there are a few undergraduate prerequisites that I lack.
The admissions counselor said they will accept classes taken from Study.com or Straighterline. Neither are regionally accredited (although the graduate program is), but I can get through the prereqs much quicker and much cheaper than if I attend community college for those classes.
I already have a bachelor's and graduate degree, so it's not -that- important that the classes can transfer, as long as they'll be accepted for the prerequisites.
Does anyone have any preference between Study.com and Straighterline, and why? I was leaning towards Straighterline just because it seems like it would be faster and cheaper for my purposes ($99/month for unlimited classes @ $59-$85 per class; versus two classes per month @ $199/month). But I'm reading that Study.com has better content. Does anyone have any experience with both (or either) companies that they'd care to share?
Thank you!
