One of each. The French one is larger and a lot more worth visiting. Better weather too

Paris is the capital city of France.
In the USA there are at least 6 towns called 'Paris', one of which is in Texas. There is also a town in Canada called 'Paris'.
Americans, Australians, etc have been assiduous at naming towns and cities after towns and cities and notable people in Britain and Europe. New York is named after the Duke of York. Albany is the name of a noble family in Britain. Las Vegas means 'the meadows' in Spanish.

Both. It's also in at least 30 other places, in the US and Canada and other countries.
