AC Delco Duraguard PF46E
The Escalade of that year had either a 5.3L LM7 V8 or a 6.0L LQ9 V8 engine. No 4.6L engine of any kind.

The correct one for that particular engine size.

ANY auto parts store can tell you.
ANY GM dealer can tell you.
You can read the manual that cam with the vehicle.
You can use your favorite search engine.

You know, there's a magical thing called "a search" that will instantly provide dozens of answers to your apparently impossible to research oil filter question.
Just click on the link below to see . . . It's sorcery, I tell you!
If you're too lazy to click on the link, perhaps yo can get somebody to do THAT for you, too.

Mobil 1 makes an excellent filter. It's more expensive but it's worth it. Go to any auto parts store and give them the year, make and model and they will tell you the correct type.

Any quality filter will work fine. Avoid any Fram filter. Purolator, Wix, AC/Delco are all quality filters. The parts store will tell you the exact one you need.

The store where you are going to purchase the filter will have a book that listed all the cars for which it carries filters and what filter it uses. The number is going to vary depending on the brand of filter you purchase. Go to the Ford section of the book, look up and Escalade and then 2004. It will give you the part number for the filter. Find it on the shelf and buy it.
If you want help, go to any auto parts stores and ask for assistance and they will be able to show you which filter you need.
But again, the number is going vary depending on the brand you buy, so there is no one number we can give you that will be correct for every place that sells oil filters.
