Recommendation for a mechanical keyboard?

Update:

My husband asked for a mechanical keyboard for Christmas and I'm not really sure to get. He said he wanted red switch with red backlight. A friend recommended Razer or Nighthawk, but it looks like there are several options within each.

I don't know what games he uses it for, but I'd like to get him a good quality keyboard with best features for gaming.

Any help would be appreciated!

    maybe give him an IOU as a gift.  that way you two can go out together and he can pick out what he wants.  some keyboards can cost hundreds of dollars.  so make sure to be clear on budget if there is one.
