Human behavior is either learned or instinctive. Our instinctive behaviors also may differ from each other. As we are not wild animals, and each one of our living situations/upbringing is different we will not have many of the same traits. Humans live to survive, and succeed. Some may find that they have no other choice than to be "bad" and commit crime to reach that goal. Others are mentally ill and do not process to trait of decision making.

Both type of humans come hand in hand but I strongly believe it is how some people are raised or what they are raised around which is what makes some people who they are. Not everyone with some people that is just the way they are or just the way they want to be.

It all depends on a human being, mostly with the sociability.

I think most humans are inherently selfish.

Think you mean inherently, not coherently.

Anyway, yes, we are innately good. There is a reason for that. We are pack animals; we have an inherent innate need to associate with other humans. And, this is important,...

To associate with others we must be nice and good to those other people. [See source.] We must have lasting friendships based on mutual trust and caring to satisfy our associative need.

To be sure, there are exceptions. Some people have no or little need to be with anyone else. They're the ones who give humankind a bad name because they're the ones who treat others badly. But they are the minority, the majority of people are good because they have a need to be with others.

Source(s): Abram Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs places the Associative Need just one level up from the Physical Need for breathing, food, and other physical functions. In other words, we not only have the Associative Need, it's also one of the strongest needs in humankind.

It's best to figure most people would be the same as yourself, basically good but not gullible.
