Is it dangerous to take klonopin for 6 years in a row almost everyday?

Ive been on klonpin for about 6 years and ive taken it almost everyday since then. My doctor never warns that it could be dangerous he never even mentions the effects of using it long term. But lately people I know have been telling me it's dangerous to take klonopin that often and for that long. Also based off what I've been reading on the internet it seems like my doctor Is wrong to be prescribing me this for the past 6 years with enough to take every day. So is it wrong what my doctor Is doing and is it dangerous?

They're right. Psychiatrists are the dirtiest doctors to ever exist.

You sound good though. You should look into going off, you can't live on them forever. Of course you know that you can't just quit & will need help?
