    Entirety of reality.

    There need to be checkpoints (qucik/autosaves), stated quests, hints and full on narrative reasons for things to go good or bad. alas that is just whishy washy and reality will continue to be completely random and unequal for no proper reasons.

    A College Loan. For some reasons they don't give them out to people with 0 credit score, and who is schizophrenic and hardly able to take care of himself.
