Tell your mom the truth, You should never lie to your mom. You want her to trust you, don't you? All lying is bad. Even though you are thinking about telling a lie because you are under pressure, or want to avoid embarrassment or punishment you still owe it to yourself and to your mom to tell her the truth. The Bible says that God disapproves of a lying tongue. Your relationship with your mom should be based on trust, and lying will break that trust. By telling a lie about a hit and run driver you are only making it worse. You will then have to involve the insurance company, the police for the police report and who knows what more lies will have to be told to further cover your lies. Face the fact, and tell your mom the truth. Remember, no matter what you do, it will always make matters worse if you lie about it. You shouldn’t even tell half of the truth. The Bible says: ‘Speak truth.’ It also says: ‘Do not be lying to one another.’ God always speaks the truth, and he expects you to do the same.

Do her a real favor, and tell her that you are not her child but an alien life form who took over her child's body, she'll feel so much better.

Tell the truth! Its not worth it to do otherwise.

Bruh. That will just get you in bigger problems. Just be honest. If it wasn't your fault, then why should you lie?

You can tell her anything you want,

But insurance fraud is a felony, so if she files on insurance you'll have to make a statement under oath and you'll have to choose between committing a felony or admitting to your mother that you lied to her.

It'll come back to haunt you if there was a police report or if your mom (or another party) files an insurance claim. Insurance companies know every trick in the book. They'll catch onto your lie in a heartbeat -- and probably refuse your claim and maybe even cancel your mom's insurance.

No, because she will tell that to the insurance company and that would be fraud.

A lie is only a lie if you get caught.
