I will not accept any pancakes in a restaurant unless the fruit and/or nuts are cooked right in with the pancakes. They like to do it the lazy way. So you need to specify when you place your order.

don't be so picky...throw the some cut berries in you mouth the cut your pancake up and throw some in your mouth. ... then swallow some syurp

Well, if not, you can do it at home.  I mean, you chop up a few strawberries and toss the pieces into your pancake batter.  How much easier can it get?  You could probably even use frozen, chopped strawberries if you're super lazy.  lol
