Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and the Yahoo Answers website is now in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.
Is the "Yahoo Answers Team" that asks a ton of stupid questions all at once really from Yahoo? Or is it just bad trolling?

Whatever it is, I think it's just awful and totally cheapens the site. There is no appeal for me to just answer a random question - I actually like (gasp) helping people out!

That account USED to be used by an actual employee (or employees) of Yahoo, and was being used in 2018 by Yahoo-Oath. The Oath YA Team was disbanded in October but we weren't told if they were retained as employees to work elsewhere for Oath (now Verizon Media) or if they were terminated. Either way it appears one or more persons still has access to that account and posts with it (quite often chat questions).
Unless the account posts something that is a clear violation, I wouldn't waste time reporting the posts. Many do seem rather trivial though, and you may see several posts on the same general topic within a short period of time. I ran into a string of them a few days ago in the Running subcategory, asking about running shoes.

I think you're a troll, the way you comment on other peoples answers is very rude. I've seen people ask questions and then you reply to all the answers with silly comments like "oh yummy."
