06 subaru baja aftermarket stereo no sound?

I bought a 2006 subaru baja sport with no stereo , so I put my kenwood in it, bought the wiring harness, matched all color wires , plugged it in , stereo turns on and shows that music is playing but there is no sound , does it maybe have a stock amplifier i need to by pass? Help!?!?!?!?

    If the car had no stereo in it, it makes no sense that it would have a separate amp. If the car has speakers already in it, you're going to have to trace their wires back to the harness to see if they're connected. Anything is possible in a used car.

    Buy a Boom Box and carry it inside your 06 Subaru, problem solved.
