    NO!!! Because you are allowed to kick the ball forward, but you are NOT allowed to pass/throw it forward.  The word 'Rugby' comes from Rugby School in England ,where the games was first invented/played'.

    No. It's Rugby football as opposed to association football. In both games, a ball is kicked with the foot.
