That way better off people don't have to worry about them.

Right. My health insurance becoming more expensive than my mortgage under Obama was because Trump supporters wanted poor people to go into medical debt. You got me. I guess.

You seem to forget it was Democrats, and Democrats ONLY who passed Obamacare and foisted this un-workable debacle on America and stood around with their thumbs up their rears refusing to even discuss ways to make it work or ways to make it less of a burden to Americans. Democrats own the failed healthcare plan. Dems alone.

I think liberals intentionally raised the cost of healthcare all so they could get FDR's dream of making it a government service. The fact that regulatory costs alone are in the billions of dollars says a lot about the intent or the intelligence of the government. Either the people passing the regulations weren't paying attention to the costs or they were intentionally trying to blow up the cost of regulations on the industry to create a monopoly and a need for higher costs.

On top of that, you have the silly idea that insurance should cover everything even if third parties in a payment model raise the cost of a service, so either the third party shouldn't exist or they should be limited to a small amount of items. Liberals however shame people for even suggesting that insurance coverage should be limited even if any basic understanding of economics makes that clear.

Finally you have things like medical school costs largely due to once again regulations passed by liberals, limits on medical licensing, and of course insane ideas like boosting market demand with government dollars or mandates. People unable to afford medical care is awful and all, but you know giving those people access to the market through government dollars makes it worse, not better.

    Every community has free clinics.

Every hospital has been required by law to provide charity care for decades

Welfare (medicaid) should always be available as a helping hand.

The Republican philosophy supports a culture of personal responsibility. Why would Republicans want people to go into debt over anything?

For healthcare specifically, remember the Democrats are the ones that have pushed the cost of health insurance to astronomical increases in a few years time and, as a result, most people have high deductible plans now.

    No one does.

And having the govt pay the gouged, outlandish prices American healthcare institutions charge is no different from forcing us to go without.

Why not? Because the government has only as much money as it gets from us. That is WE the PEOPLE.

We need to get the prices in line with the rest of the world.

Because they are bad people who don't care about anyone but themselves and their own family. They're happy for anyone else to suffer, and often get a kick out of it.

Potheads in jail, medical bills, rent- It keeps the greening of America at bay.

More money for the rich. Though if I had the ability to heal I would heal anyone who made less than $40,000.

They don't want poor people to go into medical debt. They just don't care if they do.
