Is it bad of me to get annoyed at this off my girlfriend?
So she’s studying 5 hours away on an internship and I won’t get to see her after three weeks due to her going back to her own country, so I told her I could come see her this week or next but she said this week she has plans to go to a local city with her grandmother, i wouldn’t be so bothered but because I’m not gonna see her for a month after she leave I would at least hope she would drop that to see me? Why would she rather see a city than see me when she’s so close to going away?

You need to understand that her grandmother won't always be there for her. I think it's important for her to enjoy as much time she can have with her grandmother. It's not hard to see how much you love her. As long as you are only boyfriend/girlfriend, her family will always come first. And you need to respect that.

You don't understand. It's has nothing to do with the city. It's quality time that she is going to have with her grandmother. Sure her grandmother is only 70. But every minute counts when it comes to grandparents. I promise you that is you make a big fuss about this and you want her to choose between you and her grandmother then she will choose her grandmother.
