Does anyone know what kind of cat this is ?

I was given this baby kitten by a neighbor apparently the mom abandoned him... he’s such a playful kitty and so adorable .. I’m having a hard time figuring out what kind of cat is he..

    Very few cats are a breed - maybe only around 4%. Just about all cats are domestic short hair or long hair, and are called that, or if you are in the UK they are called the lovely name of Moggie.
