HTC One M7 LOCKED?

Purchased 3 years ago FACTORY UNLOCKED

Used for about 4 months then turned off and put in drawn for 2 1/2 years.

Started up again 2 months ago and used for 2 weeks no problem.

Sold to person whom used a small mobile, when they install their TELSTRA Sim card it shows LOCKED

Help ?

Update:

My Sim card is an Optus. The new owner has tried 3 different carrier Sims cards. None work

    That’s not a simlock.

    The new owner has attempted to root the phone, and to make that more difficult the phone has a locked bootloader so that only the correct Android OS will work.

    If the owner just resets the phone and hasn’t already bricked it, then it should behave as normal and accept any SIM.

    Tell the buyer to take a hike. If the phone is now useless it’s because of what the new owner has done to it.

    The bootloader is locked. Has nothing to do with SIM locks.
