What is wrong with my headlight?
My dipped headlight keeps going off and coming on again, it’ll work for a bit then it’ll stop working then start working again, I’ve taken it to my dealer because thats where they said to take it if anything goes wrong, they got an engineer to look at it he said there’s nothing wrong with the bulb, by this point it was working again but a few days later it went out again, they told me to bring it back in if it happens again so I did and someone else looked at it, they can’t work out why, they gave it a bang and it started working again but went out again the next day, they think something is lose but don’t know what, has this happen to anyone else or does anyone know what’s wrong with it

There is likely a bad connection. The metal where the bulb goes in might be corroded or there is a loose wire somewhere. Try cleaning the area with a wire brush and brake cleaner. Additionally, if there is moisture in the bulb area it could cause a bad connection. If the gasket around the headlight is messed up put some silicone around it to help seal it.

You have a bad headlight bulb and stupid "mechanics" looking at your vehicle.
