If someone has me blocked, I know I can't answer their questions, but can I comment on their answers?

Consider if you block someone, you don't want to hear from them (just like if you block a phone number on your phone). With that in mind, it makes sense that not only can a blocked person not answer your questions, but they also can't comment under your answers (because either of those things would be that user directly posting to you).

What they can do, is when you ask a question they may comment under someone else's answer. You may or may not notice it, but that is a method many blocked people use in order to show the user who blocked them that they refuse to be silenced. Some users also respond using a different YA account (until that one also gets blocked).

If someone blocks you, it's best to just move on and not worry about posting to their questions or under their answers. If you were walking down the street you wouldn't want someone you weren't interested in hearing from to force themselves in your face. There are tons of other questions and answers on the site to respond to.

No, the word "Comment" will be gone, so you cannot. This is the only way I know which cowards have blocked me (since they all think they're so smart they know everything, so they never post questions).

No, you can not comment on their answer. There will be no comment icon visible for you to click to make your comment. But you could make your comment on other users comment icon and hope that they see it.

No, but you don't know that until you try to post the comment and you get "Privacy violation" in red. Thus has changed in the last month, at least in the mobile format. I didn't used to have the comment hyperlink.

You can post comments on the answers other people have posted to their questions.

People block just because they don't like your opinion on something. You can post a comment to any of the answers on questions those blockers ask.
