I want to start volleyball at 15 but i'm always away on vacation during tryouts?

So i'm going into 11th grade next year and I did volleyball in 8th grade but I haven't been able to try out since because I always go on vacation during the time tryouts start. It's so stupid that tryouts are during SUMMER VACATION instead of the beginning of fall.

I always allow kids to tryout if they missed due to vacation or whatever. I allow them to work with the team for 30 minutes and that IS their tryout. Only issue is that the roster is usually pretty full so you had better bring something to the table for the coach to add you to the roster.

Contact your guardian about your concern and maybe they can work around your schedule.

You need to sacrifice for the team.

The tryouts run on a set schedule, but there's nothing that says you have to take vacation at that time. I'd suggest changing your vacation to before tryouts :-\

Sorry but volleyball as a fall sport which means practices start before school. Your family could look into changing your vacation plans to try out or you can look to play for a club volleyball team outside of school. Most club teams have tryouts after the school season is done so you can make those tryouts.
