I answer a lot of questions. Many of my answers seem to be invisible to the asker and to other users. Anybody know why?

Your answer is being blocked by a spam filter. It can happen to all your answers on some days. You have to rewrite, add an additional period, remove any links and try just to click the edit tab a section time after you answer a question. That works for me most of the time. It is a pain in the butt and happens to everyone who is a level 1 to 6 and even sometimes to level 7 users who add a link. Putt the link in the comments is my recommendation if you have one.

It's a long term problem with the spam filter that Verizon seems unwilling or unable to rectify.

If you edit your answer (sometimes it takes several edits) it might show up. Sometimes, you may edit your post several times and it won't become visible. On the upside, you do get 2 pts for posting. The downside is no one gets the benefit of your answer nor do you have a shot at being selected Best Answer.

That happens Due to the Filter has Flagged it for some Reason Either you have a Link or Curse word in there or its just Stuck Try Editing your Answers and Remove it and Resubmit it and see if that gets it Unstuck

There can several possible reasons, but usually but the answer gets caught in the spam filter. Try moving your question to another cats gory then move it back . This is 4o5 year old eternal known glitch.

It is a known glitch. Edit those answers and they will show. It seems to be more prevalent when using a phone or an old version of IE.
