Allegedly he was a serial adulterer who was probably at it with many woman. For Camilla, the final straw, apparently, was when he started bedding her close friends (some friends eh!). As far as I'm aware, and according to most info around, she didn't start her close relationship with Charles until his (Charles') marriage to Diana was over which happened long before they were finally divorced - at the say-so of HM.

If you like to think what Andrew PB was up to had to do with how Camilla looked etc., so be it - there's not much to be said to convince you otherwise.

As far as I've read, Camilla realised she was never going to able to marry Charles, and moved on. Andrew PB was a good catch after all although it was a pity he couldn't stay faithful to her!

Sometimes even people who are non-royal don't realise until after they are married, that they have married the wrong person. As for not being attractive, Camilla was quite a good looking gal when young. She is in her 70s now after all. Would that we all kept our looks to the end of our lives.
