When the Queen dies will it interfere with the telly schedules?

    Yes it will, which is very inconsiderate of her. Especially as all the major TV networks will be showing the exact same footage. Hopefully one of these channels might play carry on films all day, which is bound to cheer us all up.

    A fortnight of mourning will grip the nation and bring everything, including TV scheduling, to a halt. Church bells will toll mournfully every quarter of the hour for the duration of the official mourning as crowds will huddle together up and down the country to hold silent vigil for our dear leader.

    Probably. She’s the Queen so I would imagine there would be coverage on her death

    Princess Diana’s death was a huge deal and her funeral was televised. So I can’t imagine they wouldn't have something about Queen Elizabeth when she dies.

    I'm sure it will. The death of even a former president here in the US throws the TV schedules out of whack. I imagine that's true just about everywhere when a head of state/head of government dies.
