What do you mean by 'attacking your creatures'? In Magic the Gathering, attacks are declared against Players, or Planeswalkers, you can't declare attacks against creatures. The opponent declares an attack with two creatures, and you are the attack target. If you wish to block, then you declare your creatures as blockers, or not, if you want to keep them safe. There's no such concept as attacking a creature so the situation you mention won't ever happen.
