Are most bikers siding with Harley Davidson or Donald Trump now?

Harley made a business decision last year or so for the foreign markets with high tarrifs on USA made/assembled vehicles- the current trade war/dispute/pissing contest just made it more public. The 1% 'Bikers' are siding with their own groups, Trump V demoncrap party twitter exchanges are amusing but not of main concern-- Hells Angels and associates moving into old Outlaw areas like Indiana are more a concern and right now Sturgis as neutral territory is of greater concern. Harley will continue to be sold in USA and mostly made here for the market with possibly the smallest from Asian Market brought in for some beginner sale- Indian sales will be more a concern as that competitor will have a large cruiser for same customers.

Most bikers are not in the US. They do not particularly care for H-D or Trump.

One: Not all Harley riders are "bikers". We owners are concerned, too. A "biker" is a club member, a club like The Huns, lives in the saddle, Harley is Holy, etc.

So, it sounds like Harley-Davidson is cutting its own throat, no help from Mr. Trump. We all grudgingly admit Harley is 30% Japanese (electrics, EFI), but having them openly assembled outside US would be its death knell.

Many like in article, are disgusted with Harley and splitting with it but not necessarily siding with Trump, either.

WHY is Trump making HD rethink its marketing and than bad mouthing it and than agreeing with it.?

Trump is just a rich capitalist looking for ways to gain money.
