What kind of ankle brace do I need to wear with ice skates?
My ankles have always been terrible, partially due to a low arch. I like ice skating but my ankles can't handle keeping my feet from rolling sideways with a normal ice skate.
Expensive hokey skates would fix that, but I don't like skating enough to pay that much. I'm wondering if some ankle braces to keep my ankles straight would fix it, but when trying to search ankle braes all I come up with is wraps that wouldn't give the support I need to keep my ankle from rolling.

Both my siblings had this problem when they were kids. The kind of brace that worked for them is made out of that Ace Bandage material, shaped to fit the ankle. Wrapping an Ace Bandage would also work, but then it's unlikely your skate would still fit.
You want to avoid any brace that has a rigid element, since the ankle needs to flex.
Here's an example the the kind I mean: https://www.coreproducts.com/elastic-pull-on-ankle...
You get get them at most drugstores or online.
