How long have y’all been on antidepressants/anti-anxieties?

So I recently quit taking Zoloft about 4 months ago after being on it for about 2 years, and my anxiety is getting bad again. I really hate relying on meds but I just wanna know would it be something I should consider taking for the rest of my life? And I understand I should consult my doctor first, but I just wanna know from yalls experience :)

My daughter had a difficult time when trying to be weaned off of Zoloft and unfortunately she couldn't do it ....

This sounds like Ya'll Answers again. I was on them for many years but did nothing. Now realize my problem isn't fixed with meds. I have personality disorder. Hate people. Hate life. Constantly imagining and creating almost 24/7. Cannot adapt to what is called human existence.

Never been on antidepressants. I refused to take them and decided my problems could be resolved without them
