Would a person even remember dying? I ve recently had a little stroke thanks to smoking, eating instant coffee, and just poor diet...?
I stayed in a regular hospital, before being shipped to a special rehab hospital for a month learning to walk with my left leg. One day they wanted to shove an endoscope down to my heart to see if my heart had any arrhythmia. I was told to breathe in the "gas", thinking that I would remember getting sleepy, but I dont remember anything. I just woke up in my room. IWould death work the same way (all religious/afterlife talk aside)?

I think death would be very much like that.
The difference is that anaesthetics instantly stop certain mental activity but there is evidence that death does not stop the brain instantly. Your heart may have stopped pumping when you die but you brain continues to use up the oxygen and nutrients it has already got and that can take a couple of minutes. We don't know exactly what people are aware of during that time but some people who have been brought back to life talk about being aware of their surroundings and what people were saying. Some talk of seeing a light or entering a light tunnel. This is a feature of oxygen starvation to the brain. Almost everyone says a near-death experience was peaceful. I am sure the real thing will be no different.

I wish I could tell this world everything I remember as a child of what I felt and saw after i died but sadly this world would never believe it. Imagine being in a place where you have no memory of the world or any of the suffering you had to go through, a place where you almost feel as if you could reach out and hold onto Happiness as if it was something Solid. People who think that death is the end are going to be disappointed because trust me its not
