Preference for 'dry eye disease' relief remedy?

If 'dry eye disease' is left untreated, abrasions to the cornea (the covering of the eye) may apparently occur and/or other such issues. Thank you!

Dry eyes are a chronic problem that seldom has a cure. Artificial tears with higher viscosity will stay around longer but often blur vision. Think Vaseline smeared on glass. Many people can only use them before going to bed. There are two prescription drops for dry eye, Xiidra and Restasis. I think that they are most effective in people with auto-immune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. Punctal plugs may help in some situations. If the main problem is with the oil producing glands along the edges of the lids, Lipaflow may help.
