Can you set Windows 10 to disconnect monitors that are turned off?

I've got a TV connected to my computer through HDMI. When I'm not using it I turn off the TV and manually set windows to disconnect this display so it's not opening windows over there.

Is there a way to have Windows automatically disconnect the display when it is powered off?

I've been searching it but I think I'm looking in the wrong place.

No. There is no settings for things like this through Windows or software. You need another device for this. I use a type of power strip called TrickleStar The unit I have has 12 outlets. My is pc is plugged into the "Control" slot and my monitors (4 of them) are plugged into the "Switched" outlets, along with some other devices. What it does is cuts power to everything on the Switched outlets when my PC turns off. How it works is it senses that the PC is suddenly drawing much less power and then switches off the rest of the outlets.
