Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and the Yahoo Answers website is now in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.
Is Yahoo Answers now a fake news site?
There are an increasing number of supposed questions of the form "Did you know..." followed by an untrue statement. If you reply pointing out that the statement is untrue, your answer gets reported and Yahoo rejects your appeal. I've been on Y!A since it started, but I'm not participating in this nonsense. I'm off to find something useful to do with my time.

No it's not. Answers isn't a fake news site. It's certain users who are posting the misinformation here.

They promote Anti Trump, and Liberal based nonsense! They always were! They Delete question and answers that TRIGGER others!, and always have... "Yahoo team" scoping around and moving question, and penalizing others, who don't agree with their agendas!
